LRL Courier Services Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By opening an account with LRL Courier Services, you agree to all our terms and conditions.

We recommend reviewing these terms regularly, as they may be updated from time to time.

After registration, each customer will receive:

  • Our U.S.A. mailing address, and

  • A unique mailbox number for all shipments.

2. Address Accuracy

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping addresses are complete and correct.

If your address is incomplete or incorrect, your package may:

  • Be sent to the wrong recipient, or

  • Incur additional charges.

3. Packaging Responsibility

The merchant or sender is responsible for properly packaging all items to ensure safe delivery and prevent damage.

LRL Courier Services is not liable for:

  • Items damaged due to poor packaging, or

  • Harm caused by third parties (e.g., online retailers or customs officials).

We only accept liability for items lost or damaged while under our control.

4. Required Documentation

All customers must:

  • Declare the contents of each shipment, and

  • Submit invoices and shipping documents before packages arrive in Jamaica.

If you do not agree with this policy, you may choose an alternative shipping provider.

5. Liability Notice

LRL Courier Services is not responsible for:

  • Any loss or damage to goods, mail, or shipments before they enter our network.

6. Facilitator Notice

LRL Courier Services acts solely as a shipping facilitator — not a seller.

We are not liable for:

  • Incorrect purchases,

  • Items that do not perform as described online, or

  • Discrepancies between a product’s description and actual performance.

7. Packaging and Disputes

Proper packaging is the sole responsibility of the shipper or merchant.

LRL Courier Services will not:

  • Verify that items are safely packaged, or

  • Be held responsible for damage to fragile or breakable items.

All packaging or product damage disputes must be settled directly between the customer and the seller.

We do not mediate disputes between customers and merchants.

8. Lost or Misdelivered Items

LRL Courier Services is not responsible for:

  • Lost cash or online purchases,

  • Items sent to the wrong address, or

  • Stolen goods before they arrive at our facility.

9. Liability and Settlement

If LRL Courier Services is found liable for loss or damage,

the maximum settlement amount for uninsured shipments is US $500.00.

10. Claims and Insurance

  • Our total liability is limited to US $500.00 per shipment.

  • Basic insurance coverage of US $500.00 is included.

  • For additional insurance, arrangements must be made through a third party.

  • Customers shipping items valued over US $1000.00 must notify LRL Courier Services before shipping to discuss coverage options.
